As the Archivist and Humanities Reference Librarian in the Madlyn L. Hanes Library at Penn State Harrisburg, I serve as the liaison librarian to the students, faculty, and staff in the School of Humanities. The main areas of study in the School of Humanities at Harrisburg include American Studies, Arts and Humanities, Communications, Communication Sciences and Disorders, and English.
I love to conduct research too! My interests are extremely diverse and interdisciplinary including: advocacy and outreach for archives and special collections, art and museum librarianship, art history, digital curation and preservation, fertility and infertility, the ketogenic diet and type 2 diabetes in American foodways, liberatory archival work and social justice in archives, motherhood in popular culture, tenure and promotion for academic archivists, and women's studies.
