Welcome to the library guide for COMM/SOC 20N: Critical Media Literacy. This guide has been developed to help students succeed in the course, which serves as an introduction to critically analyzing works produced in different forms of mass communication. Specifically, this guide was originally created for students in the COMM/SOC 20N sections taught by professors in Spring 2021. It has been revised for the course taught by Professor Rachel Ross in Fall 2024. The guide is offered as a starting point and should be used in conjunction with other library research guides, which are listed in the box below.
