Welcome to the library guide for COMM 215:  Basic Photography for Communications.  This guide has been developed to help students succeed in Dr. Catherine McCormick's course, which serves as an introduction to digital photography, emphasizing camera skills, aesthetics and storytelling.  Specifically, this guide includes information to help students learn about the J. Randall Plummer Photography Collection owned by Archives and Special Collections in the Penn State Harrisburg Library.  The guide is offered as a starting point and should be used in conjunction with other library research guides, which are listed in the box below.
