Introduction

This guide provides examples of geospatial data resources, interactive map applications, and geospatial projects for topics related to diversity themes. These examples are selected to provide an example of how geospatial information may be presented and is not an exhaustive list of resources. Example search results are provided as a starting point, which can be adapted to fit individual key words and themes of interest. Examples are included from a selection of topics including civil rights, African American history, Native American history, gender, language, education, and demographics. More information on the initial resource selection of resources and contributors.
