STEM Search Tips

Use each database's thesaurus or subject headings list to identify the best wording for your topic. For example, ERIC  uses:

  • Science Education, Technology Education, Engineering Education, and Mathematics Education as well as STEM Education
  • Environmental Education (NOT "nature education")
  • Hands on Science and Science Laboratories as well as Science Experiments
