Italian Studies: Language, Literature, and Culture

A guide to resources on Italian Studies at Penn State

The Italian Studies program at Penn State offers training in the skills required for fluency in Italian and knowledge in Italian culture, civilization, and literature. Its aim is to open to the student both the traditions of one of the major formative components of the Western world and the continuing vitality of modern Italian and Italian-American life.

The Italian Studies program at Penn State is supported by the George and Sherry Middlemas Arts and Humanities Library located on the second and third floor of Pattee Library.
