Many books are available in our collection (print and electronic) that will provide information on the plants important to a particular culture. When looking for books in the library's catalog, try the following subject terms with your culture:
- Archeobotany
- Ethnobotany
- Ethnoecology
- Ethnopharmacology
- Indigenous people - botany
- Paleoethnobotany
You may also want to look for the name of your plant with the subheading history (e.g. Corn - history) or the culture with the subheading "food habits."
