Researcher Identity

Is that your paper?  Or did someone else with the same name publish it? Researchers with the same name cause author attribution problems. Several services have been developed to assign a unique identifier number to every researcher. Decide early in your career how you want to be cited (eg. middle name or just initial?) and sign up for as many of the services as  you can. Most cross reference with ORCID so that is the best one to start with.
