Using Statistics
The University Libraries' Research Services on 2nd Floor E209 Paterno offers support to Penn State faculty, staff, and students working with data through its Data Learning Center.
Support includes:
- Assistance in locating data
- Assistance in using statistical software for data analysis
- Advice on research design, data collection, and data manipulation
- Advice on statistical methodology
- Assistance in interpreting statistical analysis result
- Remote consultation is available if needed

Store and Share your Data
Penn State repositories ScholarSphere and Data Commons can archive and publicly disseminate your research products:
- ScholarSpherePenn State's institutional repository - a service for research and scholarly work produced by the university community. Scholarsphere also accepts datasets, such as for linking to published articles and for compliance with DMP requirements.
- Penn State Data CommonsPenn State researchers can post datasets from their own work to the Data Commons where they can be discovered and downloaded for reuse.
Data Commons Services supports documentation of models and protocols references and links to publications based on the data.
