Why Get Help from a Librarian?

Librarians can help you do the following things:

  • Find books, articles and other resources
  • Formulate a research strategy
  • Evaluate your sources to determine if they are relevant and credible
  • Cite your sources

Librarians do NOT:

  • Proofread or edit your papers
  • Check all your citations

To meet with a Writing Consultant, visit the Center for Student Achievement, which offers both virtual and in-person one-on-one sessions.
