SimplyAnalytics is a tool for mapping and visualizing demographic, socioeconomic, and consumer behavior data. It also allows users to overlay business locations on any map generated in the database. It is a powerful tool for understanding the people that live in a given localized area and is able to offer information on geographic areas ranging from states, counties, and cities down to ZIP codes and block groups.
The Penn State University Libraries' (PSUL) subscription to SimplyAnalytics can be accessed via the A-Z Database list or via the link below:
It must be accessed from the PSUL website. Doing so authenticates you as a current Penn State student.
PSUL's license agreement provides access to the database for 3 users at a time. If you're unable to access SimplyAnalytics on your first try, we recommend waiting a half hour to an hour and trying again.
When you are done actively using SimplyAnalytics, please sign out, whether you are logged into your personal account or logged in as a guest. This will allow your classmates and other Penn Staters to use the system.
SimplyAnalytics gives you the option of creating a personal account or signing in as a guest. Creating a personal account is recommended as it will allow you to save your work and return to it later. If you decide to make a personal account, register for it using your PSU email address.
