What is PA Forward?
"With the right support, libraries are ideally positioned to become the community centers of information, technology, and learning that will fuel educational and economic opportunity for all of our citizens."
PA Forward is a statewide initiative that focuses on 5 key literacies that are essential to knowledgeable citizens:
- Information Literacy
- Financial Literacy
- Civic and Social Literacy
- Health Literacy
- Basic Literacy
Penn State Harrisburg Library participates in PA Forward by promoting library resources and creating events that support each of these literacies in order to help our academic community build vital life skills that complement our degree programs.
