The Broken Ladder: Domestic Violence

Location: LIB 106

Speaker: Michael Ritter, Deputy Director Domestic Violence Intervention of Lebanon County, Inc.

Features: Lunch served, FYS credit available, raffle prizes

“Why don’t they just leave?” is often heard when discussing domestic violence, but it's an oversimplification. Money plays a primary role in abusive relationships. Financial abuse occurs in most domestic violence cases (NNEDV), and access to money is an obstacle to victims receiving help and leaving abusive relationships.

Join Penn State Harrisburg Reads and Michael Ritter, Deputy Director of Domestic Violence Intervention of Lebanon County, Inc., for an informative session on the overlap of money and domestic violence.

We will be collecting donations for DVI of Lebanon County. Their wish list can be found on their Instagram or their website.
