There are hundreds of magazines and journals that pertain to LIS, especially considering how the field has expanded into data curation, IT, publishing, teaching, and other areas in recent decades. Below is a selection of titles Penn State faculty, staff, and students can currently access. It was inspired by Penn State University Libraries faculty's publishing and editorial service records, Journal Citation Reports and other rankings lists, and colleagues' recommendations. In no way does this list represent the venues that library employees "should" publish in, nor are they discouraged from publishing elsewhere.
