Information about the Leisure Viewing Collections of movies and TV shows

About Leisure Viewing Collections

The Leisure Viewing Collection at University Park includes popular movies and TV shows on DVD and Blu-ray. The collection is located in the Franklin Atrium of Pattee and Paterno Libraries. Items can be requested from any University Libraries location.

The collection focuses on recent popular movies, international movies, and current TV shows. Popular older titles are occasionally added.

The Leisure Viewing Collection was established in 2014 to support the leisure activities of the Penn State community and promote mental health, relaxation, and wellness. In 2019, special emphasis was placed on international movies (movies in a language other than English or produced outside of the United States) to support Penn State's international community and serve as a resource for the whole community.

Many Commonwealth Campus Libraries also have Leisure Viewing collections.  These can also be requested by any of the methods listed in this guide, or by visiting a Commonwealth Campus Library location.
