About IFIG: Intellectual Freedom Interest Group

Exploring intellectual freedom and how it informs our work.

The Intellectual Freedom Interest Group (IFIG) is an opportunity for University Libraries colleagues to gather together and think through intellectual freedom issues and how they inform our work.

IFIG meet-ups will be grounded in one common "read" (watch / listen / etc.) addressing an intellectual freedom theme. The IFIG guide will provide a curated list of additional resources for taking a deeper dive into the topic.

IFIG welcomes all University Libraries employees. Discussions benefit from the diverse experiences and perspectives of University Libraries employees. The facilitator role will rotate to any University Libraries employee(s) who volunteer to select a topic, curate resources, and convene a meet-up. Please reach out to Kristin Green (keg28@psu.edu) and Sarah Hartman-Caverly (smh767@psu.edu) for more information!
