A. William Hajjar Architectural Drawings Collection (09399)
At Penn State
These collections cover architecture records created by Penn State professors, groups, departments, and organizations.
- Charles Klauder Architectural Drawings of Penn State Buildings (00543)Charles Zeller Klauder (1872-1938) was one of the leading architects of his time. Known as the collegiate Gothic architect, he gave distinct identities to many American campuses. This collection consists of 39 drawings, blue prints, and floor plans for buildings at Penn State.
- College of Arts & Architecture Records (00080)Founded in 1963 and consists of the H. Campbell and Eleanor R. Stuckeman School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture, School of Music, School of Theatre, and the School of Visual Arts.
- Don Leon Collection About the Korean War Veterans Memorial (00550)Drawings, photographs, newspaper articles, correspondence, and audio/visual recordings documenting the controversy over the Korean War Memorial design created by four Penn State professors in 1989.
- Milton S. Osborne Papers (01092)Primarily focuses on his architectural work on urban rejuvenation projects and the Dwight D. Eisenhower home at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Includes some correspondence, 13 presentation-size images, sketches, photographs, and albums from his travels.

These collections focus on records created by or about architects and architectural organizations or topics within the State College/Centre County area and the Pennsylvania commonwealth.
- A. William Hajjar Architectural Drawings (09399)Approximately 800 architectural drawings and plans representing over 50 residential and commercial projects primarily in the State College region.
- Francis Ferguson Papers (00341)Reel-to-reel films, computer data printouts, maps, photographs, and scrapbooks pertaining to Ferguson's career in architectural and regional planning, including the rescue and relocation of the town of Nelson, Pennsylvania.
- Howard Lawrence Collection of Centre County Maps and Drawings of Historic Buildings (00562)Drawings by first year architecture students of historic buildings in Centre County accompanied by historical maps of townships in the county.
- Irwin Richman Papers (01307)Research notes and files, as well as correspondence and academic/administrative records, regarding American arts and architecture, Pennsylvania Dutch arts and crafts, the history of the Hudson River Valley and Catskills, and history of medicine in Pennsylvania.
- Pennsylvania Bridges Collection (01696)Photographs of railroad bridges in Pennsylvania and technical drawings by the Penn State College Civil Engineering Department and lantern slides of railroad bridges.

These collections encompass records that relate to architects and architecture beyond the scope of Penn State or Pennsylvania.
- Architectural Rendering of Industrial Sites (01420)Architectural renderings of industrial facilities and surrounding sites (waterways, transportation lines, storage yards) in Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey.
- Fay S. Lincoln Photograph Collection (01628)Architectural photography prints, negatives, glass slides, books, card files, and negative logs of building exteriors and interiors from the 1930s to the 1960s.
- George C. Izenour Drawings of the Theater (02358)Architectural drawings for three books (Roofed Theaters of Classical Antiquity, Theater Design, and Theater Technology) and exhibition drawings and negatives for an exhibit in Spain of fifty of the most significant theater buildings in western cultural history.
- Kelmscott Albumen Prints of European Architecture (02368)Focuses largely on Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands, with additional prints from France and Scotland.
- Sir Edward Maufe Architectural Papers (02385)First principal architect for the United Kingdom from 1943 to 1969, noted for churches, cathedrals, and various war memorials. This collection consists of architectural drawings, blueprints, and pencil sketches as well as business records.
- Theater Design, by George C. Izenour, Manuscripts and Related Materials (02359)Manuscripts, graphics, captions, and galleys for Theater Design, published by McGraw-Hill, Inc., in 1977.
- Pantheon Theatre collection (02416)This collection includes a theatre advertisement (1786), 5 architectural plans, an engraving, and 3 broadsides for London's Pantheon Theatre. It also includes two undated historical sketches, one of the Pantheon and another of the Lyceum or English Opera.
