World Campus students have access to the same library resources as resident students. You can request books, use interlibrary loan, and request help with research questions. The Libraries' Guide for World Campus lists a wide array of resources.

The Libraries has over 700 databases, thousands of Ebooks, and tens of thousands of online journals.  This guide is an attempt to distill those resources into a set of core resources useful to the study of Latin American Politics.  It is not intended to be exhaustive.  If you need more assistance please contact us for assistance.

The guide is divided up in pages, with each page focusing on a particular type of information that can be used to complete your projects.  From finding research articles to locating data sources, the guide outlines reputable, high quality resources. 

1. Begin your research with Handbooks and Annual Review. These resources will give you a broad overview of your topics and will get you started on your literature review. The references in these sources will also lead you to more in-depth articles on you topic.
    
2. LionSearch and Google Scholar allow you to search across disciplines. This can be useful for interdisciplinary topics such as Latin American politics which will touch on history, economics, politics, human rights, etc.
    
3. Find Articles will highlight key subject databases that can help you narrow and focus your search on specific topics.  
    
4. Country Background Information contains resources to help you build a profile of your country, including its political and social structures.
    
5. The Statistics and Data page provides you with resources that have reliable data resources to back up your arguments.
    
6. Finding an e-journal, and Requesting library materials pull together some basic info on navigating the library and requesting materials that are not available online.
    
7. Citing your sources has resources to help you manage the bibliographies in your papers including a tool to generate citations in APSA format.
    
8. Locating Library resources has hints on locating journals and requesting materials from the library.
    
9.  Library Assignments outlines the 3 exercises you need to complete on research techniques. You will complete the assignments within Canvas, NOT the Course Guide.

These guides can be used to expand on the resources in your course guide.
