Building material prices in 20 major U.S. cities, labor cost data, various cost indexes and construction-put-in-place data and construction starts data are offered in a regular sequence.

The first weekly issue each month contains cement, concrete, asphalt and aggregate prices; week two has pipe prices; week three features lumber and drywall prices; and week four includes steel product prices, such as rebar and I-beams. The table containing cost indexes for individual cities is always published in week two. Commerce Dept. construction put-in-place figures appear in week three, and Dodge construction starts figures appear in week four.
