Challenging Penn State Fayette's students, staff, faculty, and friends to collectively read books, ebooks, audiobooks, your favorite fanfiction, podcasts, or fall down a rabbit hole researching an interesting topic.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What counts as a "read"?

Reading includes engaging with paper/print, digital, or audio formats.

Books -- for our purposes -- usually tell a story (fiction or non-fiction) in long-form, but may be short. Formats may include: "typical" books, graphic novels and comic books, audiobooks, fanfiction, podcasts, or the collection of things you read as you fall down a rabbit hole while researching an interesting topic.

  2. Can I borrow books from the library?
You can, but you don't have to in order to participate. Books and audiobooks at the library are free to borrow, and loan periods are typically for the semester for most books (2 weeks and renewable for Libby/Overdrive ebooks). See the "Finding Books" tab on the left for more details.
