Book Club Kits

Looking for activities your student org can do socially-distanced or in-person? The University Libraries is sponsoring book clubs surrounding the themes of intellectual and spiritual wellness, as well as overcoming adversity. We’ll provide the books to your organization (up to 25) and some fun resources and goodies to help you along. Book club kits are first come, first served. Can you spot fake news? When you re-post online, how can you be sure you aren’t passing on misinformation? Hone your skills by learning how to identify fake news and stop the spread!

CAPS will present an online session focused on student mental health and wellness. Participants will learn about strategies focused on dealing with issues such as stress, the various resources Penn State offers and how to reach out, and will have the opportunity to ask any questions they may have about mental health and wellness.

Thinking about renting an apartment next year? You need to start the leasing process early, and it's important to be aware of your rights as a renter. Join the Libraries and a lawyer to learn more about the rights of renters in Pennsylvania and be prepared to sign your lease for next year.

Be an informed consumer! Join the University Libraries as we discuss The 30 Day Money Cleanse, available as a free ebook for PSU students here: 30 Day Money Cleanse. You do not need to attend all sessions to participate, but students who complete all four weeks will win a prize.
