CHEM 110 Chemical Principles I (Smith)

Identifying your topic

Searching broadly using "physical chemistry" or "basic chemistry" and "uses" or "applications" in our databases will retrieve many results. Searching on specific elements and their uses or on specific subject headings will often provide more focused results. Also, if you know of an author or researcher, you may also want to try searching by their name as well.

If you are unsure what you would like to search, use your Course textbook and other books of note to help identify topics that would you like to search as part of your research process, or consult the general reference books on this page or the website links to help identify keywords and topics to research as well as look-up properties and uses.
