The Jewish Studies Program at Penn State is an interdisciplinary program whose scope ranges from the Israelite origins of the Jewish people to the experience of modern Jews. Our distinguished faculty offer courses on a diverse array of topics, with perspectives that combine the humanities and the social sciences. We offer two types of Jewish Studies Majors (Culture & Language and Interdisciplinary) and two types of Minors (Jewish Studies and Hebrew).
The Jewish Studies Program at Penn State is supported by the George and Sherry Middlemas Arts and Humanities Library located on the second and third floors of Pattee Library.
