The field of Asian American Studies truly began in the late 1960s when marginalized populations demanded a voice in the American conversation.  The resources on these pages support both the academic and non-academic work of any scholar with an interest in this area.  This page specifically supports the nascent Program in Asian American Studies, Department of Asian Studies, at Penn State University.
