E-Books

To find E-books in the libraries collection:

  • Search for your topic in LionSearch
  • Select Full Text Online under Refine Your Search
  • Select Book/eBook under Content Type
  • Most E-books have built-in accessibility features, such as text magnification and text-to-speech.

Audiobooks

To find audiobooks in the Libraries collection:

LionSearch

  • Search for a topic, author, or title
  • Select "more" under Content Type, select Audio Recording and click Apply

This will retrieve all types of audio recordings, including music, so try including the term "audiobooks" (e.g. harry potter audiobooks)

The Catalog

  • Search for a topic, author, or title
  • Under Format choose "audio"

Braille Books

The Libraries has a small selection of books in Braille at University Park, mostly juvenile books located in the Education and Behavioral Science Library and government publications located in the Government Documents collection.

  • Use Advanced Search in the Catalog
  • Enter Braille books in the subject field
  • Select either Book or Juvenile Book under Format

Large Type Books

The Libraries has a collection of large type books held in the Leisure Reading Collection at University Park and at the Commonwealth Campus Libraries.

  • Use Advanced Search in the Catalog
  • Enter large type books in the subject field
  • Narrow your search by entering an author, title, or subject
