Description: Join your classmates and other members of our campus community for a 4-week series of discussions. Book Clubs will meet weekly to discuss three chapters of Everything I Never Told You by Celeste Ng, this year's selection. All groups will meet virtually, either via Zoom or through an asynchronous group in Microsoft Teams. The registration form provides options for you to pick when would be best for you to meet. All students living in on-campus housing received a book in their room upon move in. Students living off campus can request a copy of the book to be mailed to them in the registration form.

Description: What is stress? How can you become more stress aware? What tools and techniques can you learn to lessen the impact that stress has upon your health and overall well-being? In recognition of National Stress Awareness Month in April, this event will focus on the following objectives: 1) learn stress and its harmful effects, 2) introduce basic concepts about different mind-body therapies and stress management practices (e.g., yoga and meditation) that can reduce stress, 3) learn about resources to cope with stress, and 4) try out a short, mindfulness meditation that can be used anywhere and anytime.

Since then, we have received conflicting information such as: who is the most susceptible to the virus and the efficacy of mask-wearing in public spaces. Join the STEM Librarian, Andrea Pritt, to explore the recent COVID-19 research, critically think about the nature of the scientific process during pandemics, and how all of this might effect you, your family, and your community. Attendees will have the opportunity to locate the evidence-based research behind a lot of the popular information surrounding COVID-19.
