Getting Started with Research

This guide was created to help you learn the essentials of conducting library research for your ENGL 015 class. It will give you tips on: 

  • Brainstorming a topic
  • Developing keywords and a search strategy
  • Finding sources appropriate for your assignment using library databases and Internet sources
  • Evaluating and selecting the best resources for your assignment
  • Citing your sources in using MLA format
