Welcome to the library guide for AMST/ARTH 307N:  American Art and Society for Dr. Alicia Bott and her students.  This guide has been developed to help students succeed in Dr. Bott's course, which examines major works of art, movements, figures, and issues in American art history and increases students’ proficiencies of visual analysis.  Specifically, this guide includes information to help students learn about the J. Randall Plummer Photography Collection owned by Archives and Special Collections in the Madlyn Levine Hanes Library at Penn State Harrisburg.  The guide is offered as a starting point and should be used in conjunction with other library research guides, which are listed in the box below.
