After reviewing the University Libraries' CSE Quick Citation Guide, the proper citation was created for an "article in a scholarly journal" out of the pieces of bibliographical information as follows.
Lefort KJ, Garroway CJ, Ferguson SH. 2020. Killer whale abundance and predicted narhwal consumption in the Canadian Arctic. Glob Chang Biol. 26 (8): 4276-4283.
It is recommended in CSE to use the ISO abbreviation for journal titles as found in the Web of Science. Note, the article itself needed to be reviewed to find the page number information.
