- American Indians (NOT "Native Americans")
- A variety of terms for what Americans call "Middle Eastern," including "Arab Americans," "Muslims," and "North African Cultural Groups"
- Black Americans (NOT "African Americans")
- Hispanic Americans (NOT "Latinx")
- Homosexuality (NOT "LGBT" or "gay")
