♦Open Access Journals
Accessing content from academic journals can be difficult and costly without login information provided by a major research university, such as Penn State. Below is a list of open access journals on topics related women's, gender, and sexuality studies. The articles can be accessed online for free without university login credentials.
WFAN's mission is "to engage women in building an ecological and just food and agricultural system through individual and community power." The resources found on their website include a video library and online access to brochures and publications printed by WFAN.
This link provides access to a bibliography of sources on women and agriculture, which was prepared for the Second International Conference on Women in Agriculture in 1998. Its entries include resources for women and agriculture outside of the United States. The bibliography lists the National Agricultural Library's call number, but you can use the information that is listed to find the resource at Penn State!
WAgN's website includes a "Resources" page, where you can access articles and fact sheets, assessment tools, agricultural data analysis, and short descriptions of longer books and manuals that can either be downloaded digitally, or a hardcopy ordered online.
The PA-WAgN website, which is hosted by Penn State, also maintains a "Resources" page, where research articles written by PA-WAgN researchers can be accessed via PDF.
